For Keith Price, drumming wasn’t just a hobby—it was his lifeline. At 13, he picked up a pair of sticks and never looked back. In 2022 a trip to Turkey turned him from drummer into distributer.

Funny enough it was trip he wasn’t even sure he wanted to go on. He was making the most of his retirement with his music publishing company and playing local gigs in Southern California. His wife was the one who convinced him to take the trip that would expose him to a whole new way to be involved in the music community.
But after meeting the Turkish craftsmen at Smyrna, he knew he must help drummers discover the magic of Istanbul-made cymbals. He saw firsthand their traditional methods, the painstaking hammering and shaping that goes into every piece, and experienced the unmatched sound that only centuries of expertise can create.
Today, Keith is more than just a drummer—he’s the face of Earth Element Cymbals in his community.
